Funds at Cornell

Cornell Fund

Cornell Fund gifts bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating our students, providing immediate support to help sustain a transformative liberal arts education at Cornell College. Your generous gift supports everything from scholarships to experiential learning, faculty research, new lab equipment, building maintenance, and utility costs.

Endowed Funds

Cornell’s endowment provides support for every aspect of the college and ensures that student scholarships, programs, and needs are met at a consistent level, regardless of unforeseen circumstances that might otherwise impact our students and the college in any given year. The endowment is fundamental to Cornell’s long term plan and is a steady and significant source of support for the myriad opportunities our students experience each year. Cornell Cares

As our Cornell community continues to adapt due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we created a new fund called Cornell Cares to help mitigate and minimize the financial burdens to our students and families. Gifts to this fund help pay for technology needed for distance learning, equipment and supplies to maintain a safe campus environment, and other unanticipated expenses incurred as a result of our response to the pandemic.

Our priority is the health and safety of our students, while providing them an exceptional education whether they are studying on the Hilltop or remotely. We are confident that we can and will do everything necessary to support and take care of them and we know that with your help, we will creatively and intentionally help our students transition into this learning model with ease.

Golden Rams

The Golden Rams Fund supports Cornell Athletics by meeting unexpected equipment needs, upgrades to technology, uniforms, and jerseys, while also providing valuable part-time assistant coaches to ensure our student-athletes have the most fulfilling experience possible.

Cornell Scholars and Scholarships

Cornell College consistently attracts motivated young people with remarkable minds and impressive academic credentials. Though rich in talent and scholastic ability, many of these students lack the resources to finance a Cornell education. The Cornell Scholars Program provides financial assistance to such students, impacting their academics and their lives.

Cornell Fellows

Cornell Fellows is the college’s premier opportunity for high-level internships and professional mentoring. Cornell Fellows are engaged in hands-on projects throughout the eight-week fellowship, complete at least one academic credit, and receive financial support to offset costs associated with housing, transportation, food, and supplies. Cornell Fellows are highly visible in campus communications and must complete several additional requirements if they are accepted. Students can apply for opportunities at existing Cornell Fellows sites or request funding to support an internship at a new site that they propose.

(Naming opportunities for Cornell Fellows Endowed Funds begin at $100,000)
