Leadership Annual Giving
Leadership annual gifts nourish the core of the college by easing Cornell’s reliance on tuition, fees, and earnings on the endowment. Each year, there is a monetary goal for Cornell’s Annual Giving funds–a number representing what the college feels philanthropy can provide in support for Cornell’s current students. But the true goals of these funds can be stated in a more direct manner:
Engaged professors accessible to every student, competitive athletic programs, opportunities to create and serve across the globe, financial assistance for deserving students: the reimagination of the liberal arts experience plays out through your investment in the aspirations of 1,000 young men and women.
PRESIDENTS SOCIETY
Your cumulative gift of $2,000 or more during a fiscal year demonstrates your commitment to Cornell. Whether it be scholarships, experiential learning, off-campus study, research opportunities, or athletics, you can find the initiative that aligns best with your passion and philanthropic goals. Cornell’s academic excellence and programmatic innovation require investment. As a member of the Presidents Society you are a full partner in creating a bright and accomplished future for the Hilltop.
PRESIDENTS SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:
- Insider updates from President Jonathan Brand and/or Provost Ilene Crawford ’92

Membership in the Presidents Society and recognition for each giving circle is based on dollars received during Cornell’s fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
