Cornell College has a proud history of educating young people and changing their lives. Our alumni came to the Hilltop from communities of all sizes in every part of the United States and many parts of the world. At Cornell, they found valued friends as well as faculty and staff who inspired them, challenged them, and prepared them for lives of learning and purpose.

Cornell students continue to benefit profoundly from this student-centered learning community. As a national liberal arts college with a distinctively powerful One Course At A Time curriculum, our reputation has risen. We have been recognized as a “best buy,” a “highly efficient” college, and one of the Colleges That Change Lives. And yet, Cornell, with an enrollment of 1,000 students, is one of the smallest of the U.S. News top 100 national liberal arts colleges and is the second smallest of the 14 Associated Colleges of the Midwest.

To continue this important momentum and take the next vital steps in making Cornell’s campus and programs attractive to greater numbers of prospective students, we launched a comprehensive capital campaign, Greater>Than, on July 1, 2015. The focus of the Greater>Than campaign is raising funds to renovate and expand several of our critical campus facilities and to significantly increase Cornell’s endowment in key program areas--to continue to make the Cornell experience Greater>Than it has ever been.

Cornell is a distinctive and widely admired institution, providing students with a uniquely impactful array of educational opportunities. Our students achieve spectacular results. Our graduates excel around the world. We are moving forward with vigor, and have an opportunity to accelerate our progress to ensure a vibrant future for Cornell. The success of the Greater>Than campaign will require that those who value Cornell participate with their generous financial support.
