Color it Purple
Save the date: March 24, 2027
Each spring, alumni and friends of Cornell College rally to support the Hilltop during the 24-hour day of giving event–Color it Purple. This event has become a much-loved tradition, with challenges, events, and enthusiasm, all for the common goal of supporting the Cornell Fund through generous donations.
The 12th annual Color it Purple event, held on March 4, 2026, raised a record $262,348 from over 1,000 donors across all 50 states. It was an amazing show of support, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Planning is already underway for next year’s event.
Rams on the Rise
October 20-22, 2026
Rams on the Rise is a giving event where the entire Cornell community rallies to rais funds for Cornell Athletics.
Every fall, support for the athletic teams takes the form of a 3-day event called Rams on the Rise. This is an opportunity to show your support for our student-athletes as the teams compete in donor challenges to raise money for travel, expenses, and equipment needed throughout the year.
Giving welcome 365 days a year!
Please know that your gifts and support are welcome throughout the year, and not specifically for these events. Your generosity supports students each and every day, and we thank you for your generosity.
